Good Distinctions YouTube Channel Removed

And restored, thankfully

I received this anxiety-inducing email yesterday morning:

Needless to say, I was pretty upset. I have not done anything that constitutes spam, deceptive practices, or scams. I filled out the appeal form and thankfully got a response within the hour that the action had been reversed. What is more, I was told that my channel did not transgress ANY of the community guidelines.

The current Good Distinctions YouTube channel used to be Will Wright Catholic and before that it was my personal page. It has been active with zero violations since 2011! For 13 years, I have had no issues…

In the last 28 days the channel has had 4.0k views and 54.1 hours of watch time. A couple of my shorts got 2.4k views a piece. The growth on YouTube has been fairly modest but nonetheless present. I did not receive any warning or notice of violation. And I’m still unsure what exactly happened.

At any rate: the channel is back online and moving forward.

God is in control. If He wants Good Distinctions to grow, then it will.

If He wants it to fade into the dust bin of internet history, then so be it.
